Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Own product direction and roadmap across Practice Management and EMR domains, with deep focus on revenue cycle management workflows (eligibility, claims, remits, denials, and patient billing). Manage and continuously refine the end-to-end Jira backlog, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization, and Definition of Ready standards. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts, ensuring strong execution, accountability, and growth within the team. Drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Sales, Support, Professional Services, and customers to ensure roadmap clarity and execution readiness. Partner with technical leadership on architectural decisions, integration design (HL7, FHIR, X12), and legacy modernization trade-offs. Run Agile ceremonies as Product Owner, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. Define success metrics for initiatives and ensure outcomes are measured, communicated, and iterated upon based on real data and customer feedback. Ensure release readiness by coordinating closely with QA, Scrum, and engineering stakeholders to maintain delivery quality and predictability. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership within healthcare, ideally focused on EMR, Practice Management, or Revenue Cycle Management platforms. Deep understanding of ambulatory RCM workflows, including eligibility (270/271), claims (837P/I), remittances (835), denials, appeals, and payer rules. Proven ability to influence priorities and drive outcomes without direct authority over engineering teams. Strong experience working on mature or legacy platforms where backward compatibility and customer trust are critical constraints. Advanced proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and hands-on experience managing Jira as a Product Owner.
