What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, 5+ years of experience in embedded systems or FPGA-based platforms, experience with board support packages (BSPs), embedded Linux, or RTOS environments, Proficiency in C/C++, familiarity with firmware development workflows, Experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and source code release management, understanding of hardware/software interfaces in FPGA or SDR systems, Ability to think from the customer’s perspective and design intuitive engineering workflows
Nice to Have
Direct experience with SDR, RF systems, or space communications hardware, Proven track record designing SDKs or developer platforms, Familiarity with Yocto, Buildroot, or similar embedded Linux build systems, Experience writing technical documentation for external customers, Experience supporting external engineering teams or customers, Knowledge of export control and secure code distribution practices
