The **Technical Operator** is a highly skilled and experienced member of the manufacturing team, responsible for leading the operation, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement of equipment and processes. This role represents the preventive stage of the Technical Operator progression plan, where the operator not only ensures equipment reliability but also leads autonomous maintenance activities, mentors others, and drives factory-wide resilience. The Technical Operator is a technical leader within the autonomous team, accountable for setting and sustaining standards, diagnosing complex issues, and implementing long-term solutions. They play a key role in preventing breakdowns, optimizing performance, and ensuring safety, quality, and cost-efficiency. **ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** **Safety and Quality** * Follow all safety and quality policies and procedures according to the existing guidelines * Wear / Use prescribed PPEs * Follow standards on personal hygiene * Use LOTO during troubleshooting and CILT * Ensure that machine guarding is in place before and during production * Use proper tools and equipment during troubleshooting and maintenance activities * Follow prescribed work procedures and company safety rules and regulations **Operations: Technical (OMIR – Operate, Maintain, Improve, Repair)** * Always Ensure continuous operation of all lines (including meal break and shortages of operator). * Apply mechanical principles to perform changeovers, basic repairs, and adjustments (e.g., cams, slides, bearings, belts, pulleys). Use appropriate lubrication programs. * Understand and apply pneumatic systems within the sourcing unit; conduct fault diagnosis and basic repairs. * Establish, implement, and sustain standards for Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Centerlining (CL), and Basic Equipment Conditions to ensure consistent and reliable equipment performance. * Promptly detect early signs of equipment anomalies and take immediate corrective action in line with
