### **Job Description** ## Overview Designs and drafts civil infrastructure plans (roads, grading, drainage, utilities) using tools like AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Translates engineering inputs into accurate 2D/3D models and drawings, supporting design and quantity calculations. Requires strong technical software skills and experience in site and infrastructure design. ## Your role * Produce plans, 3D models and 2D drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, or Microstation, InRoads. * Generate existing surfaces / sub-surfaces with survey data, site grading, drainage system, earthwork models with Civil 3D / InRoads / OpenRoads to perform civil design and take-off quantity calculations. * Develop underground services / utility plans. * Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from civil engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts. * Implement alignments profiles, and x-sections of sites / roads. * Prepare engineering drawings. * Other duties as applicable. ## About you * College certification or BS (preferred but not required) in Civil Engineering. * 15 to 20 years of design and drafting experience in Civil Engineering. * Must have experience in 2D and 3D designs for site grading, earthworks, drainage systems, underground services, utilities, roadways, and other infrastructure systems. * Mining industrial plant and facility experience preferred. * Experience in hydrology is a plus. * Thorough knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted office procedures. * Ability to read and interpret map and land survey. * Must be proficient with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Microstation, InRoads/ OpenRoads. * Good written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to maintain confidential information critical. ## Rewards & benefits Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
