What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8+ years of software engineering experience, deep expertise in modern full-stack web development, Proven track record of owning or significantly influencing architecture for consumer-facing web products at scale, mastery of TypeScript, React, Node. js, and Next. js, Experience building and scaling modern full-stack applications using GraphQL, Apollo, and AWS, expertise in both relational and NoSQL databases including Postgres and DynamoDB, Demonstrated ability to operate as a technical leader, Exceptional engineering judgment, Strong, hands-on coding ability, Experience scaling systems with real constraints, Excellent communication skills, Deep, practical fluency with AI-assisted development
Nice to Have
Experience working on high-traffic consumer products at scale, Prior experience mentoring Staff or Senior Staff engineers, Familiarity with modern observability, CI/CD, and developer productivity tooling

The Role We’re looking for a Technical Lead to help define and scale the technical direction of our consumer-facing platform while raising the bar for engineering quality, execution speed, and AI-native development practices. As the Technical Lead, you’ll be the primary technical leader for the consumer pod - working cross functionally to shape architecture, make high-leverage technical decisions, and ensure we consistently ship high-quality consumer experiences. You’ll operate across a modern TypeScript stack, making pragmatic tradeoffs between speed, scalability, maintainability, and user experience as the product and organization evolve.
