What They're Looking For.
Must Have
At least 5 years of experience in a combination of Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles, at least 1–2 years in a technical lead or senior capacity, hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, GCP including architecture and cost management, Solid experience with Kubernetes environments, especially GKE, Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation, Experience building or maintaining backend services or internal tooling using Python or similar languages, Experience with GitLab and managing CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, Demonstrated ability to lead incident response, conduct postmortems, and implement long-term remediations, Experience driving engineering best practices: code reviews, testing standards, deployment automation, ability to communicate and align technical decisions across engineering, product, and leadership teams, Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Ability to operate independently, prioritize across competing workstreams, and mentor others effectively

What You'll Do.

Document and enforce operational procedures
and incident resolution playbooks
and review backend services
and automation frameworks
Lead code reviews and set engineering standards for quality
Collaborate with product and project teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Drive engineering best practices including testing strategies
and deployment automation
Build and maintain internal platforms and tools that improve developer experience and operational efficiency
Serve as the technical point of contact across engineering and cross-functional teams
Mentor and guide mid-level and junior engineers on both SRE and SE best practices
Contribute to engineering roadmap planning
and architectural decisions
Foster a culture of reliability
and continuous improvement within the team
