What You'll Achieve.
Ensure alignment of technical deliverables; Ensure alignment of programme logic; Ensure alignment of assurance requirements; Facilitate a coordinated and buildable design development process; Maintain control of cross-discipline dependencies; Reduce risk of late-stage design conflicts; Reduce risk of rework; Reduce risk of programme disruption; Ensure timely resolution of technical queries; Ensure integration with the Project Risk Register; Strengthen technical cohesion across the project; Ensure a coordinated, and programme-aligned design prior to transition into construction
Industry & Context.
Travel to Site in Suffolk, Hybrid role, Blend of home working, Time spent at Omnia offices, Project offices, Regular site visits
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Relevant degree in Engineering or a Project Management Discipline, Extensive experience in technical integration and interface management within major infrastructure projects, Proven ability to manage cross-discipline design coordination and resolve technical queries in complex delivery environments, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
Familiarity with National Grid standards and governance processes

Use and comply with procedures
Act as client-side Technical Interface Lead
Identify and manage key engineering interfaces
Facilitate interface workshops
Review contractor design programmes
Support the management of technical queries
Review the engineering deliverables
Coordinate the management of design risks
Provide concise reporting
