What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline, Extensive experience (15+ years) in rolling stock and yellow plan systems across high-speed, conventional, freight and metro railways, expertise in rolling stock system architecture, integration, and railway operational performance, Demonstrated leadership of complex, multidisciplinary rail projects, track record in senior stakeholder and client management, Experience across assurance, approvals, and certification processes, Experience in the management of equipment suppliers, Experience in the design, implementation, testing and commissioning of power systems, including the operational and asset management of such systems, Proven ability to lead technical bids and consultancy assignments, Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills, Ability to manage multiple high-value assignments simultaneously, Chartered Engineer, Membership of a relevant professional institution, Experience working across international rail projects and markets, Experience of client and contractor organisations
Nice to Have
Knowledge of depot management and delivery, operations and maintenance requirements, Additional language skills
