What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10 years of experience in process chemistry for synthetic molecules, Knowledge of chemical synthesis, Knowledge of chemical process technologies, Knowledge of production in a cGMP environment, Ability to motivate teams in a matrix organization, Ability to create strong cohesion to achieve success together, Excellent relationships with stakeholders, Ability to navigate negotiations and cross-functional projects, Active driver for change, Open culture for new opportunities, Driver for continuous improvement, Passion for tackling new challenges, Fluent in German, Fluent in English
What You'll Do.
Alignment of the project portfolio with the capacities and capabilities of DS Clinical & Commercial Supply
Acting as the primary contact person for projects from Research and Development (R&D)
and for local and global planning roles and committees
Ensuring alignment of respective project goals in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Leading strategic project planning & feasibility
Executing long-term strategic planning
including a 5-year outlook for operational facilities and personnel
Conducting feasibility studies and capacity assessments
Coordinating resources in collaboration with sections within DS Clinical & Commercial Supply
Monitoring planning within the department
Acting as a subject matter expert and advisor for manufacturing processes and/or facilities
Providing expertise to solve complex technical problems and strategic issues
Leading complex investigations
Identifying root causes
Implementing effective corrective and preventive actions
Mentoring and coaching employees in their continuous development of professional skills and knowledge
Driving continuous improvement by identifying innovative solutions for process optimization and productivity increase
Utilizing and implementing Lean principles and digital solutions to improve processes
Shaping the strategic planning and goal setting of the department
Fostering a strong team spirit and a culture of collaboration
and high motivation to achieve goals
