15 years’ IT experience, 10 years spent supporting sales in a High Value solution-oriented company in Core Storage and Data Management solutions, Excellent knowledge of Block Storage solutions, File Storage (NAS), Data Protection and Management technologies, Good knowledge of Customer’s mission critical workloads, VMware and RedHat based virtualization platforms, Containerized workloads, Ability to conduct Customer value workshops, participate and present in customer events, EBCs, conduct Demos clearly articulating value for customers, Clear understanding of a solutions sales approach, value-added selling, Highly proficient in written and spoken business English, Well organized, adaptable, clear thinker with communication and interpersonal skills, Willingness to accept responsibility and ownership, Innovative, actively looking for solutions to problems, catalyst for change, Ability to work as part of a team to address strategic business goals & execute programs, Ability to manage competing business pressures effectively, Work with key stake holders, leaders in the company to bring key issues to resolution, Good understanding of consultative or solutions selling techniques

The TE is expected to have strong technical depth across Hitachi Vantara’s portfolio, including **Virtual Storage Platform One (Block), VSP One File, VSP One SDS, and VSP 360** management solutions, enabling effective solutioning and customer engagement. The Technical Expert role is a highly skilled technical sales position, recognized as both a subject matter expert and trusted advisor with a strong understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape. In addition to working closely with the India Sales and Presales organizations, the TE acts as a strategic liaison between field teams and Solutions Leads / Product Management teams, ensuring alignment between customer requirements, field feedback, and product strategy.
