Full Job Description

For our site in Gratkorn, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated **Technical Director – System Architect** to join our innovative team. In this key role, you will drive the architecture and technical direction of cutting-edge UHF RFID systems, working closely with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders. **Your Responsibilities:** * Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Technical Leads to define and refine detailed product requirements based on customer needs * Design robust and scalable system architectures aligned with defined requirements and customer use cases * Define and drive system integration and validation concepts and plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams * Support product development teams throughout implementation and validation phases, ensuring high product quality and technical excellence * Act as a technical interface to key customers from product definition through production ramp-up, proactively addressing new requirements and complex system issues * Conduct in-depth technical investigations of competitor products to identify trends and opportunities * Active participation and influence in standardization activities in for RFID, UHF area (i.e. EPC) * Engage and collaborate with global teams, contributing technical leadership across regions **Your Profile:** * Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field, with 15 + years of relevant industry experience * Proven expertise in system architecture development for UHF RFID, wearables, or IoT devices * Solid understanding of wireless communication technologies and radio systems * Basic knowledge of UHF measurement techniques * Understanding of product development lifecycles and engineering processes * Excellent communication, abstraction, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks.
