Must Have
Community College or Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Biological Sciences, or Health-related Sciences, At a minimum three (3) months of related research experience, Attention to detail and maintaining accuracy of information, The candidate should be self-motivated, demonstrates interest in continuous technical, personal, and professional development, analytical skills, excellent judgment, ability to work independently with guidance, Must be able to work as part of a team, Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
Nice to Have
Experience with DNA/RNA extraction, cell separation and culture are an asset
What You'll Do.
Perform routine biorepository operations
including sample pickup
and cryopreservation of biological specimens in accordance with standard operating procedures
Enter and maintain accurate specimen data in the biospecimen information management system
ensuring data integrity and traceability
and distribution of biological samples to internal and external research collaborators while maintaining proper documentation
Conduct basic laboratory procedures
including cell culture and sample preparation
following established protocols
Maintain laboratory inventory
ensuring readiness for daily operations and compliance with safety standards
Participate in quality control activities to ensure biospecimen integrity and adherence to institutional and regulatory requirements
