Job Title: Tech Lead Java Engineer Key Skills: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, AWS, Microservices Location: Campinas - SP Mode: Hybrid We at Coforge are hiring Tech Lead Java Engineer with the following skill set. Key Responsibilities Design and develop large-scale, distributed backend systems with multi-tiered architecture, concurrency, and high availability. Independently translate complex functional and non-functional requirements into robust, efficient, and scalable backend solutions aligned with system architecture. Lead and contribute to the full software development lifecycle — including system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. Champion the adoption of AI-powered tools and practices (e.g., AI-assisted code review, GenAI-driven documentation, intelligent test generation) to improve team productivity and code quality. Create and maintain comprehensive and usable technical documentation. Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and advocate for engineering best practices. Mentor and guide junior, mid-level, and senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. Actively participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making with cross-functional teams. Required Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Java (preferably Java 17+). Expertise in Spring and Spring Boot. Proven experience in a technical leadership role. Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. Expertise in Hibernate / JPA. Experience with containers such as Docker, and AWS Cloud Services (EC2, EKS). Experience with both MongoDB (NoSQL) and MySQL (relational). Proven experience building microservices architectures. Solid understanding of AWS Serverless Architecture: Lambda, Step Functions, Cognito, API Gateway, SQS, RDS, VPC.
