ABOUT THE TEAM AND ROLE You'll join the Orchestration team and take ownership of the Payment Router — one of the core components of our platform. It lets merchants and operations specialists flexibly configure routing and processing rules, so they integrate with us once instead of connecting to a dozen different providers, and get the best conversion thanks to our business logic. This is a high-load, technologically complex product with strict requirements for correctness, reliability, high availability, and low latency. We're currently exploring AI-driven options to simplify configuration for our merchants — so there's plenty of interesting work ahead. This is a leadership role, and we want to be upfront about the path to it. Because of the depth of the domain and our experience onboarding leads, the first 6–9 months are focused on working as a Senior Engineer — getting deep into the product, the architecture, and the team — before stepping into the Tech Lead role in full.
