What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4+ years of hands-on engineering experience building and shipping production systems, Track record of taking systems from prototype to production, Solid experience with Computer Vision (e. g. , detection, segmentation, OCR, tracking, video analytics) - or ML/deep learning experience with a clear path into CV, Proficiency in Python & C++, Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and OpenCV, Working knowledge of deep learning fundamentals (CNNs, Transformers)
Nice to Have
Prior Tech Lead experience, with a track record of driving cross-functional teams, Experience with MLOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, ML pipelines), Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed systems (Kubernetes, Spark), Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant technical field, Experience with Generative AI or multi-modal systems, Experience working with international clients or in outsourcing environments, Contributions to research, publications, or open source
