What They're Looking For.
Must Have
at least 2 years of experience in team management, minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or production environment, including operating heavy equipment (loaders, cranes, shuttle trains), attention to detail, compliance with safety procedures and railway, ability to communicate clearly and effectively with your team (French required), comfortable working outdoors in a dynamic environment, regardless of weather, excellent physical condition, hands-on work, including climbing on and off railcars and handling
Nice to Have
experience in a railway environment, good knowledge of systems, infrastructure, or rolling stock
What You'll Do.
oversee on-site rail operations
lead daily field activities
support and engage your team
ensure rail operations are conducted safely and efficiently
and motivate the rail operations
Apply and enforce occupational health and safety
Plan the use and maintenance of equipment
including PPE and machinery used for railcar
Work closely with the shuttle train operator to ensure safe and efficient positioning of railcars
Support the foreman with administrative and operational follow-ups related to rail production
