Position Summary The Team Leader is responsible for leading, prioritizing, and directing production staff on all primary operations and job functions. They ensure the safety, quality, and output of their area while adhering to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Essential Functions * Utilize OPS and relevant machine and Team boards to monitor daily production and quality output, addressing excessive downtime as needed. * Schedule daily production, allocate resources, ensure vacation coverage, and manage overtime activity. * Conduct department employee meetings at the start of each shift and participate in Gemba walks. * Provide timely feedback to enhance performance and foster a positive work environment for employees. * Offer feedback and recommendations for training or coaching personnel. * Complete Team Leader, 5S, and verification audits. * Collect and reconcile work orders. * Monitor preventative maintenance activities to ensure completion. * Enforce compliance with all Health & Safety, Environmental, Legal, Quality, and Oetiker policies and procedures. * Lead and implement OPS improvements. ## Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities * Mechanically Inclined * Knowledge of production equipment * Software Proficiency * Proficient in word-processing and spreadsheet applications * Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows * Communication Skills * Strong interpersonal and business writing ski
