Must Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work, Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, Working knowledge of federal and state safety regulations

Familiarity with ISO 14001 standard
What You'll Do.
Oversee employee and labor health and safety initiatives
Develop and implement safety policies
Identify and mitigate hazardous conditions
Identify potential hazards
Investigate accidents
Liaise with engineers
and regulatory authorities
Provide advice and training on safety protocols
Conduct audits to ensure compliance
Maintain and analyze records of workplace injuries
Provide information required by regulatory agencies
Manage workers’ compensation cases
Analyze data into safety recommendations
Prepare reports using Covel CMS
Maintain all safety recordkeeping information
Ensure incident and accident information in Intelex Database
Submit monthly reports to appropriate personnel
Prepare plant monthly/quarterly safety reports and metrics to
Control and calibrate all media samples
Prepare and send reports to lab/corp
and conduct all employee safety training
Maintain associated safety training records
Coordinate monthly plant safety committee meetings
Administer local SharePoint safety site
Maintain a safety itemized implementation plan
Implement Standard Driven Process improvements
Conduct Standard Based Improvements
Manage the job safety hazard analysis program
Conduct safety audits throughout the plant
Develop action plans to correct any gaps
Attend and assist in documentation of all RRCA
Establish a process to verify corrective actions are
Coordinate all evacuations
Manage the NFPA 25 fire protection system checklist
Establish fire prevention system when plant system is
Implement programs as required by Division Safety Manager
Lead job hazard analysis as required by plant
Enter required performance indicator data into web-based BSAM
Assess property conservation status of the facility
Maintain contact and establish rapport with applicable state
Continue professional development through training courses
Develop cross-functional capability in safety and risk management
