Full Job Description
A premier Saudi Arabian entertainment and hospitality company owned by the PIF. Was founded in 1997 as the nation’s first athlete representation agency, has now evolved into a global developer of iconic destinations and spectacular live experiences. The Carpentry Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Carpentry section in the event fabrication workshop and ensuring that scenic elements, structures, custom displays, and related furniture are fabricated efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. This hands-on role involves leading a team of Carpenters as the primary link between the Production Manager / Designers and the workshop floor. Key Responsibilities 1. Team Leadership & Supervision • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing workshop team to meet tight event deadlines. • Allocate daily tasks to team members based on project schedules and skill levels. • Provide training and support to staff, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Run daily, short "toolbox talks" or stand-up meetings to discuss project status, safety, and goals. 2. Production & Operational Efficiency • Fabrication & Assembly: Build, repair, and modify scenery, exhibit stands, and props using wood, laminates, plastics, and sometimes metal. • Blueprint Interpretation: Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, CAD drawings, or sketches provided by designers. • Finishing Work: Apply high-quality finishes, including painting, laminating, and trimming, ensuring items are "show-ready". • Tool Maintenance: Safely operate and maintain all shop equipment (table saws, routers, CNC machines, pneumatic tools). • Logistics Support: Load/unload trucks, pack items securely for transport, and assist with on- site installation and strikes. • Collaboration: Work with project managers and other technicians to meet tight deadlines. • Coordinate workshop workflow to optimize production, reducing waste and downtime. • Support, and sometimes lead,
