What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Matric certificate or equivalent, Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or delivery operations, At least 1 to 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a distribution or transport environment, Proven track record of managing teams and achieving operational targets
Nice to Have
Diploma or qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field
What You'll Do.
Lead and manage the TDT team to ensure timely and accurate delivery operations at the Johannesburg Distribution Centre
Allocate daily tasks and optimise team workload to meet delivery targets and SLAs
Monitor team performance through KPIs and take corrective actions to improve productivity and quality
and motivate team members to maintain high levels of engagement and performance
Manage shift planning
and staffing levels to ensure operational efficiency
Ensure strict compliance with health
and environmental (HSE) standards within the team
Resolve operational issues
and escalations promptly and effectively
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on team performance and operational metrics
and report on damages
and other operational discrepancies

Ensure all loss and damage investigations are completed within required timelines and communicated to relevant stakeholders
