Full Job Description
In this role you work closely with all colleagues within the operation, along with the wider Management Team and support functions to ensure delivery of a first class, professional and consistent Operation. As a Warehouse Team Leader at Debenhams Group, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of warehouse personnel, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining a safe working environment. You will play a critical role in optimising productivity and delivering exceptional service to our customers. The working hours for this role is Tuesday - Saturday, 07:00am - 15:00pm Key responsibilities - * Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse operatives. * Create work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure adequate staffing levels. * Train new employees and provide ongoing training to improve skills. * Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback. * Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety training, and maintain a safe working environment. * Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations. * Generate and analyse performance metrics and report findings to upper management. **Requirements** * Experience in a similar supervisory or team management role * Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities. * Understanding of health & safety regulations and practices within a warehouse setting. * Target driven with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. * Diplomatic nature and ability to resolve issues efficiently and professionally. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Ability to analyse data and generate reports **Benefits** Our mission is to create a workplace where everyone is respected, their individual differences are valued, and they can be themselves at work without exception. 2026 is a year for making bold moves, delivering real results, and driving forward
