What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree or equivalent experience in business, education, finance, law or related discipline., Knowledge of tertiary students and the Australian higher education system., Understanding of first-year experience, transition, and peer support models within higher education, with the ability to apply these within university frameworks., Demonstrated experience coordinating major and complex student engagement projects, events and programs., Proven ability to lead, coach, or supervise staff or student leaders, Ability to manage, analyse and report on data to inform decision making and program evaluation., High level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation, communications, and reports., Demonstrated ability to balance compliance, risk management and student engagement outcomes within complex or high-volume operational environments., Ability to understand and critically evaluate policy, legislative, and governance requirements and clearly translate these requirements into practical guidance for students.
What You'll Do.
Provide senior operational and administrative support to the Inclusion and Belonging portfolio in the delivery
and continuous improvement of student groups
including oversight of approximately 130 student clubs and societies.
Lead event coordination
stakeholder engagement
and process improvement.
Provide high level project
administrative and event coordination and support to the Inclusion and Belonging team.
Coordinate student group events and other major student-facing activities
including managing registrations
coordinating rosters and training
arranging speaker briefings and facilitating venue and facilities bookings.
Monitor Student Group activities and ensure compliance with University policies
procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
Exercise sound judgement in assessing and managing risk across a diverse portfolio of student group activities
applying governance requirements in a pragmatic and proportionate manner that supports both institutional obligations and positive student engagement.
Lead governance processes including reporting
record keeping and issue resolution relating to student group activities and events.
mentoring and capability development for student group executives and student leaders to support effective governance

## **PRIMARY DETAIL** Annual base salary from $114,912 - $124,676 (HEW Level 7), plus 17% superannuation Appointment type: Full time, continuing Onsite role, based at Macquarie University, Wallumattagal campus, North Ryde **About the role** We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated individual to provide senior operational and administrative support to the Inclusion and Belonging portfolio in the delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of student groups, including oversight of approximately 130 student clubs and societies. The role leads event coordination, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and process improvement.
