What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 years recent experience, 1 year supervisory experience, Criminal Record Check required, First Aid Certification required, Naloxone administration training required, Valid driver's licence required, Reliable vehicle required, 2 million liability insurance required
Nice to Have
Training/education in human/social service field, Conflict resolution/crisis prevention training, Conflict resolution/crisis prevention experience
What You'll Do.
Deliver person-centered support services
Follow policies and procedures
Support tenants through PSR
Advocate on behalf of tenants
Provide specialized support to staff
Provide operational assistance to Manager
Prepare support plans
Document support plans
Implement support plans
Monitor support plans
Evaluate support plans
Assist with case management
Identify potential problems
Provide input to counsellors
Provide input to professionals
Develop appropriate programs
Monitor client mental health
Monitor client substance use
Determine need for additional support
Recognize potential emergencies
Analyze potential emergencies
Respond to potential emergencies
Encourage tenant participation
Facilitate tenant participation
Provide life skills training
Assist tenants with navigation
Assist tenants with financial management
Coordinate with Public Trustee
Budgeting for tenants
Ensure deposit payment
Contribute to evaluation of tenants' progress
