What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6+ years of experience in medical coding, at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, Extensive knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems with E&M coding, Experience with healthcare billing processes and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or similar certification required
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related field

Ensure that coding practices are in compliance with HIPAA regulations
