### **Job Description** **Overview** AtkinsRéalis is growing and our Western Canadian Engineering group is seeking a **Team Lead** to join our growing **Electrical Engineering** team. In this role, our leaders support the execution of a wide variety of projects by providing technical expertise, leadership to staff, and support for business development activities. This includes collaboration with or overseeing a team of engineers, technologists, and technicians, leading the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems, while also providing technical guidance and mentorship. Technical knowledge of complex building electrical systems and experience as a consulting engineer will set your application apart. Our Engineering Services team in Vancouver is dynamic and tight-knit, servicing local projects while contributing to large national and international projects as part of distributed virtual project teams. Our projects are varied and span Healthcare, National Defense, Light + Heavy Industrial, Transportation (Rail + Transit, Ports + Marines +Tunnels), Municipal, Federal (including Defense + Nuclear), and Institutional industries. **Your role** * Oversee resources for your project team or the local electrical engineering team, acting as either a technical mentor, project manager, or team leader. * Participate in and/or lead the design, development, and implementation of projects, including Functional Planning, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, and Construction Administration services. * Support the Director, Mechanical & Electrical West in implementing methods and procedures aligned with corporate standards. * Lead and support business development initiatives, including proposal writing and strategic planning for the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering group in Western Canada.
