1+ years of experience as Team Lead Data Scientist, 5+ years of experience in Data Scientist, working with tabular data on predictive modeling, Experience in methodological leadership, mentoring, Track record of translating research into business impact, PhD or B. A a related field- Math/EE/CS/Physics/Stats, Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc., Proficient in Python and the Data Science Stack, Ability to learn and explore new fields of expertise

About the Role We are looking for a Team Lead Data Scientist to lead strategic research initiatives focusing on our Personal Loans asset class. This Manager will be at the forefront of Pagaya’s research, working hands-on to advance our models while also managing the team and collaborating with data scientists across the department.
