What You'll Do.
Responds to and screens telephone answers inquire or refers to proper person.
maintains and confirms academy course serves as registrar for in-service training.
and verifies documents and inputs into the computer data base.
Notorize documents for department and outside agencies
Prepares class documents using Google Drive
Maintains employee records and files on outside training
Prepares payroll for assigned departments
Prepare and provide monthly reports.
Records minutes for Advisory Board Meetings.
Collects and deposits tuition collects fees and makes reconciles and balances money accounts.
Maintains inventory and requisitions supplies
orders office supplies.
Prepares all copy work and visual aids for training courses.
Prepares and distributes quarterly training calendar
coordinates instructors for in-service training.
Updates training and education information with Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education.
Administer TCOLE Licensing Exam
Administers entry level testing for Academy applicants.
Coordinates Basic Peace Officer Certification graduation activities.
Coordinates TCOLE exam dates for Basic Peace Officer and Jailers Certification.
Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
