Full Job Description

Job Overview The Teacher CTE HVAC will plan and implement an instructional program and provide related educational services for students in assigned grade levels. The incumbent will manage student behavior, assess and evaluate student achievement, and modify/control instructional activities as required. Instructional delivery will provide students with real world experiences relevant to the industry today. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Classroom Instruction and Student Management Assess student abilities as related to desired educational goals, objectives, and outcomes and provide instruction to grow student abilities Maintain appropriate assessment and evaluation documentation for institutional and individual reporting purposes Plan appropriate instructional/learning strategies and activities including determination of appropriate level of materials Implement an instructional program which provides appropriate learning experiences, considering different learning styles and a range of learning curves Assist and participate in the management of student behavior in instructional settings, including school grounds, centers, and work sites, to ensure environment is conducive to the learning process; intervene to control and modify disruptive behavior, reporting to appropriate administrator Utilize a variety of instructional materials and available multi-media and computer technology to enhance learning Manage allotted learning time to maximize student achievement Ensure classroom and/or instructional environment is attractive, beneficial, safe and conducive to learning while ensuring materials are accessible to students and in good condition Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development Program Facilitation CTE teachers will be responsible for maintaining safety in classrooms Maintain accurate annual asset inventory reports Maintain timely and accurate budget and accountability reports Communication and Collabo
