What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanic, Welder or Pipe Fitter in heavy industrial, mining, tunneling, or construction environments, Experience with TBM systems (EPB or slurry) will be mandatory, Commitment to safety and adherence to all site regulations, Must be willing to join the local union as required
Nice to Have
Trade certification or apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline (e. g. , Heavy Equipment Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Millwright, Welder) is an asset, understanding of hydraulic systems, rotating equipment, pumps, and heavy mechanical machinery, Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and service manuals, troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment

Perform preventative maintenance
Perform corrective maintenance
Diagnose mechanical faults
Respond to breakdowns
Conduct routine inspections
Monitor equipment performance

Participate in safety briefings
Assist with TBM maintenance
