What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5–8 years of relevant tax experience, with a focus on income tax provision (ASC 740), technical knowledge of ASC 740 (FAS 109) and US corporate income tax
Nice to Have
Public accounting (Big 4 or large national firm) experience preferred, but not required, CPA, JD/LLM, or Master’s in Taxation preferred, Exposure to indirect tax (sales/use, property tax, VAT) is a plus
What You'll Do.
Lead and manage the quarterly and annual income tax provision process under ASC 740
including preparation and review of workpapers
Analyze and document book-to-tax differences
effective tax rate drivers
and uncertain tax positions (FIN 48)
Coordinate with external auditors and advisors to support tax provision and financial statement audits
Support U. S. federal and state income tax compliance and oversee work performed by external providers
Assist with tax planning initiatives
and special projects as needed
Monitor and interpret changes in tax laws and accounting standards impacting ASC 740
Support or collaborate on indirect tax matters (sales/use tax
