1-3+ years of experience as a copy editor or recipe writer, 2+ years of recipe development experience and high comfort level in both sweet and savory cooking, Comfort with CMS platforms, Excellent culinary judgment as it relates to cookability, cultural sensitivity and accuracy, Superb attention to detail, Problem solving and critical thinking skills, interpersonal written and communication skills, knowledge of Tasty video content and understanding of our overall point of view on food and cooking, Impeccable time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize projects, Ability to work independently while remaining an excellent collaborator, Ability to work with a variety of personalities, including creative producers and talent

What You'll Do.

copyediting recipes and social captions submitted by our culinary team, creators and external talent, ensure the accuracy and clarity of all Tasty.

co recipes for editorial and branded projects, including video copy, recipe titles and headers, writing and editing recipe roundups, as necessary, work with our SEO team to keep our content up-to-date and adherent to SEO best practices, contribute to creative content and cross-platform initiatives as appropriate, Serve as copy editor for all written recipes and captions across all social platforms including tasty.

co and the Tasty app, Watch videos for accuracy and clarity, Contribute to and update recipe round-ups, Write, schedule and publish app push notifications, Handle projects from start to finish with minimal supervision, Work within our CMS to publish new recipes, Keep Tasty’s Recipe Style Guide updated and relevant, Contribute your expertise to appropriate business initiatives, working with cross-functional teams, Write and publish engaging and relatable captions for our static photography and link content on our social channels including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, and Twitter.
