What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1+ years of experience painting aircraft or aircraft parts, 1+ years of experience sanding, taping, mixing materials for the application of paint, Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift
Nice to Have
1+ years of experience working on military and commercial aircraft platforms, 1+ years of experience working with hazardous materials, Prior experience as a painter and/or tankline specialist
What You'll Do.
Prepare parts for paint application
Coat surfaces of aircraft with paint
spray guns and other devices
Remove old paint from aircraft
Use liquid paint remover and scraper
Smooth surface with sandpaper and steel wool
Roughen aluminum surfaces with acid solution and steel
Mask and cover portions of surfaces not to
letters or numerals on aircraft surface
Search and read specifications in DPS engineering drawings
