Full Job Description

Ready to make a real impact on how we hire? Due to an internal move, we’re looking for a Talent & Engagement Specialist to lead end-to-end recruitment and help deliver ongoing strong candidate and hiring manager experiences. What you’ll be doing: As our Talent & Engagement Specialist, you’ll deliver recruitment strategies that attract, engage and retain both permanent employees and a large seasonal workforce. You’ll be hands-on across the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering closely with hiring leaders and using Greenhouse (ATS) and other sourcing technology to deliver quality candidates to your hiring managers while providing a positive candidate experience. This is a true end-to-end role where you’ll own briefing, sourcing, shortlisting, hiring manager support and candidate care across a wide range of roles. You’ll also lead and mentor some of our seasonal team members to deliver volume recruitment campaigns hiring our seasonal workforce. Based at our Whakatu Recruitment office, you’ll run a seamless recruitment process for both hiring managers and candidates. You’ll contribute to projects that shape the future of talent at Mr Apple, including smarter use of automation and AI-enabled tools (used responsibly) and use simple reporting that make confident hiring decisions. Your role will be varied daily and include: Source, screen and hire great people for permanent and seasonal roles (end-to-end) Partner with hiring managers to shape role requirements, interview plans and selection decisions Build and run targeted sourcing campaigns across multiple channels (including talent pools and referrals) Use technology to recruit smarter by managing workflows in Greenhouse and trialing tools that lift speed and quality (including AI where appropriate) Track and report recruitment metrics Continuously refine and improve the processes Stay across recruitment trends and bring fresh, practical ideas into the business You will bring: Proven recruitment experience (agency, RPO o
