What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Related Associate degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience, Related work experience, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Demonstrated customer service skills, Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources, Current driver's license (with low-risk driver rating) and automobile liability insurance required
Nice to Have
One to three years’ experience in workforce development or related programs preferred
What You'll Do.
Manage caseload of participants
Provide counseling and mentoring
Assess participant competencies and work history
Conduct individual meetings with participants
Complete individualized overview of services
Maintain information about area resources
Ensure participant accountability
Track and maintain employment retention goals
Provide government agencies with notification
Maintain periodic contact with participants
Provide information on training and jobs
Assume responsibility for participant self-sufficiency
Monitor progress throughout program cycle
Prepare and maintain participant files
Provide case management for self-sufficiency
Facilitate customer access to services
Coordinate individual instruction
Improve job readiness score
Deliver pipeline of work ready customers
Introduce Company and other tools
Ensure participants complete assignments
Conduct follow-up outreach to students
Document efforts in program systems
Maintain student assessments in files
Communicate effectively
