Must Have
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience in Computer Science, 10+ years of mainframe COBOL programming experience, CICS, JCL, Syncsort, File-AID, VSAM, IDCAMS, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, SQL, FTP/SFTP, 5+ years performing tasks across the systems development life cycle (SDLC), communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients, analytical and problem-solving skills for the design, development, and testing of programs, Ability to manage concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities, Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have
Knowledge of mainframe administration system wMA, CYBERLIFE, LIFECOMM, LIFE70, CLOAS, Experience working with Reinsurance systems and processes, Knowledge of the Insurance Industry specifically LIFE or LTC, Knowledge of Actuarial processes, Knowledge of Tyndall Associates Reinsurance System (TAI)
What You'll Do.
