Position Overview The Machine Operator will be responsible for trimming excess lining and fabric from the sides and bottom of drapery panels using either a flat table or a vertical table. What you'll do Remove drapery from the rack and clamp fabric to the rod pocket table. Check hem and finished length on the work ticket. Inspect fabric for flaws or defects. Cut fabric and trim off extra lining. Make hidden tabs using an iron and serge sewing machine. Clamp fabric to the vertical tabling machine. Enter hem and finished length from the work ticket on the control box. Raise the machine to the finished length. Inspect fabric for flaws or defects. Machine will cut the fabric. Cut and trim off extra lining. Comply with all facility safety rules and regulations. Repor
