Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software, Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages, Ability to write simple correspondence, Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs
What You'll Do.
Provide input for colleague’s performance appraisals
Assist Test Engineers commissioning new test equipment
Provide technical assistance to other technicians
Provide line support to manufacturing for test processes
Respond to machine down calls
Liaise with manufacturing to determine repair priorities
Ensure adequate spares are available
Ensure Preventative Maintenance is carried out
Liaise with manufacturing to ensure Preventative Maintenance does not impact production schedule
Escalate to Test Engineers unresolved/ongoing issues
Instruct operators on safe/effective use of test equipment
Provide daily report of all line issues
Provide weekly/quarterly downtime reports
Source spares from cost effective supplier
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Assists Test Engineers when commissioning new test equipment; Provides technical assistance to other technicians on the same shift; Liaises with manufacturing to determine repair priorities; Liaises with manufacturing to ensure Preventative Maintenance does not impact production schedule; Escalates to Test Engineers any unresolved/ongoing issues

Effectively present information; Respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public; Write simple correspondence; Read and understand visual aid; Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; Provide daily report of all line issues; Provide weekly/quarterly downtime reports
