Full Job Description

A global technology company headquartered in Zeeland, Michigan, Gentex is an 8-time winner of the Top Workplaces in Michigan. **_POSITION OVERVIEW_** Systems Test Engineer I is responsible for the testing and validation of Gentex systems and applications. They will execute test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Gentex products meet functional and performance requirements. **Location** : This position requires on-site work at Gentex facilities. This role is not eligible for remote work. **_RESPONSIBILITIES_** * Implement and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for system-level testing. * Execute manual and automated tests to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability. * Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution. * Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality. * Conduct regression testing and verify bug fixes to ensure product stability. * Analyze test results and generate detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations. * Stay current with industry best practices in testing methodologies and tools. * Maintaining a high level of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality with respect to company matters. * Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties**,** including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace. * Other duties as assigned. **_REQUIREMENTS_** * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. * 1+ years of experience in systems testing or software quality assurance. * Strong understanding of testing methodologies and software development
