obtain the relevant security clearance, handle export-controlled material, British Citizen, resident in the UK for the past 5 years, resident in the UK for the past 10 years
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Significant experience and a full understanding of Systems Engineering, Significant experience of developing high quality requirements, Attained experience in a product line/capability-based approach, Demonstrable experience/vast understanding of implementing the full Engineering lifecycle, Technical and Line management experience of a team of systems engineers, Experience in writing high quality technical documentation, Substantial knowledge of System Engineering practices, Previous experience of hands-on capability development of hardware, software or firmware embedded solutions
Nice to Have
INCOSE recognition ASEP/CSEP/ESEP, Experience working as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), NCSC security processes, familiar with deliver of associated security artefacts

Develop technical capabilities/solutions

Assure application of practices
Quantify and implement technical processes
Deliver Systems Engineering artefacts
Provide technical direction
Exert technical influence
Work closely with architects
Plan and deliver design reviews
Lead and manage Systems aspects
Manage customers and external suppliers
Ensure and review technical proposals
Provide accurate estimates
Lead other discipline leads
Review and sign off deliverables
Manage security of information
Support early careers development
Line Management duties
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with the system, hardware, firmware and software architects and design authorities; Work with programme management and the engineering programme lead
Communication Scope
Plan and deliver design reviews, to senior management and customers
Process & Methodology
programme management, project management, schedule, budget, cost, risk management
