What They're Looking For.
Must Have
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field, Robotics, mechatronics, or system integration, Embedded systems and firmware development (C/C++), Hands-on experience collecting and analyzing sensors data, Experience integrating hardware and firmware into robotics or sensor systems, Experience with lab characterization and debug equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, DMM) and data analysis, Working knowledge of PCB schematic capture and/or mechanical CAD, problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
Projects or research in robotics manipulation, contact-rich interaction, force control, or tactile perception, Controls and estimation fundamentals (PID, filtering, sensor fusion, Kalman/observer concepts), Sensor interfaces and instrumentation: strain gauges, load cells, ADCs, current shunts/Hall sensors, encoders, IMUs, Python/MATLAB for analysis and test, C/C++ for embedded development, ROS/ROS2 familiarity, communication skills, ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
