Full Job Description

**Inside the Role** The Product Validation Engineering (PVE) vehicle integration team is responsible for sub-system and full vehicle electrical and electronic validation of DTNA products. This includes our Freightliner, Western Star, Medium Duty and Electrical Vehicles platforms. This position is part of the Cab Electrical team within PVE that is responsible for Driver Comfort and Controls, Interior/Exterior Lighting, HVAC Controls, Telematics, Infotainment and Connectivity, Video Capture, PowerNet and High Voltage Systems. Our validation is conducted in the workshop, on the road, and at offsite testing facilities. This team interfaces with many departments in the organization including Mechatronics, Cab and Chassis Engineering and Connected Services Group (CSG). Your role is focused primarily on Mechatronics feature validation across several areas: Connectivity and Telematics, HVAC, and body controlled exterior lighting. The majority of this work occurs on vehicle and will require interfacing extensively with multiple teams in design. You will be responsible for designing, maintaining and executing test cases across these key areas. You will document issues and work with design counterparts to resolve and close them prior to SOP. **Posting Information** We provide a scheduled posting end date to assist our candidates with their application planning.
