Systems Engineering Manager **Company:** The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking a dynamic **Systems Engineering Manager in Oklahoma City, OK** , to lead a team of engineers in accomplishing the Systems Engineering scope of work for the Executive Transport and Surveillance (ET&S) portfolio in the Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers Division. This position requires excellent communication and leadership skills, detailed knowledge, and systems engineering experience supporting modification and modernization programs. Top candidates will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be honest and transparent with employees, create an engaging culture, and maintain high ethical standards while delivering results. Additionally, managers are accountable for the success, happiness, and growth of the people within the group. In this position, you will lead your team to work across numerous engineering teams to develop, coordinate, and drive system solutions. **Position Responsibilities:** • Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical execution of the Systems Engineering statement of work (e.g., Requirements, Architecture, Interfaces, Verification, Technical Performance Management, Integration). • Develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Partners with the Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT) leader, Program Management, Program Chief Engineer, and Program Teams. • Manages, develops, and motivates employees. Coaches, counsels, mentors, and provides developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities. Provides ongoing developmental feedback. Recognizes contributions of individuals and teams to improve employee satisfaction and retain a skilled and motivated workforce. • Develops project or operational plans aligned to MS&B objectives. Implements plans to ensure business, technical, and customer requirements are achieved.
