With high-precision lithography optics, photomask systems and process control solutions, ZEISS enables the production of ever smaller, increasingly powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips, and thus plays a pivotal role in the age of micro- and nanoelectronics. # # **Your Role** * define and further develop functional architectures for a sub-system of complex semiconductor systems for mask inspection * analyze system requirements and derive technical specifications of modules belonging to image acquisition unit from them * develop and evaluate models to validate concepts and architectures as well as integration and test strategies in consistent documentation; * identify technical risks early and develop appropriate mitigation strategies * ensure consistency and traceability of requirements throughout the entire development process and documentation * contribute to the definition of roadmaps for semiconductor technologies applicable to mask inspection tools * act as a technical leader and interface among hardware development teams, software teams and project management for both internal and suppliers teams # **Your Profile** * a degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field, ideally with a PhD * strong knowledge of technical error budgeting and systems engineering approach for semiconductor industry including integrated circuit design for camera sensors * experience in defining and specifying sub-systems, modules an
