Full Job Description
Here's something you don't see every day: a sysadmin role with genuine variety, proper project work, and a US-based MSP client that actually knows how to run a good team. No two weeks the same. No ticket treadmill. Just real infrastructure work across a diverse client base, the kind of environments that keep your skills sharp and your CV looking healthy. You'll be employed by First Focus and placed directly with one of our clients, a well-regarded MSP based in the United States. They work across a broad range of industries and infrastructure stacks, which means you'll get exposure to interesting technical challenges rather than the same three problems on repeat. Evening shift hours align with their US business day, so when you're online, the client is online, decisions get made, work moves forward, and nothing sits waiting until tomorrow. If you're a sysadmin who's done the reactive support grind and is ready to spend your time actually building and delivering things, this is the right direction. **What you'll be doing** You'll own the technical delivery of infrastructure projects from kickoff through to handover: * Email migrations across various platforms to M365 * Server builds and migrations, including file servers, domain controllers, and application servers * Network upgrades and cross-platform migrations * Hypervisor replacements and migrations across VMware and Hyper-V environments * Post go-live support to make sure cutovers land cleanly and clients aren't left guessing * Client-facing project updates and stakeholder communication throughout delivery * Thorough documentation of everything you build, so the next person actually understands the environment * Time tracking, issue logging, and contributing to post-project debriefs **Requirements** **What you'll bring** * 3 to 5 years in a similar role, in project delivery or a solid support background with real project exposure in an MSP environment * Hands-on experience independently completing the project typ
