What They're Looking For.
Must Have
degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred), minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, Experience supporting one or more of the following: Production or life-cycle cost modeling / Affordability or cost trade studies Design-to-cost activities / cost parametric modeling Total ownership /or life-cycle cost analysis
Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Experience with affordability or cost engineering tools such as ACEIT, SEER, TruePlanning, ProPricer or price analysis tools, Familiarity with effector, radar, sensor, or munition systems, Prior experience in a regulated aerospace or defense environment, Background in Estimating and Pricing or Finance

support and apply affordability analysis techniques
support the affordability of various systems and products throughout their life cycle
contribute to affordability solutions as part of a cross-functional team
support pre-production
and sustainment affordability efforts
support the Raytheon Affordability Process
Support the development
and execution of DTUPC
and life-cycle cost models under supervision
aligned to program objectives
Assisting with affordability trade studies
and design-to-cost activities
Applying affordability and cost-performance trade study principles
including Cost as an Independent Variable (CAIV) and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) concepts
with guidance in support of system and program decisions
Supporting supplier cost analysis
hardware cost estimating
and production learning assessments
Assisting with proposal development
Preparing and communicating cost and affordability analysis results to engineering and program stakeholders with support from senior team members
Supporting documentation
and standardization of affordability processes
Collaborating with and learning from senior affordability engineers while contributing to team objectives
