From robotic lawn mowers to cutting-edge chainsaws and sustainable battery systems, we’re shaping the future — and we want you to be part of it. **System s Engineer – Handheld BEP R&D** You will join the Systems Engineering team, responsible for system architecture and requirements for our current and future battery handheld products. The team consists of nine experienced system engineers. The highly specialized products you will work on are complex systems combining software, electronics, and mechanics. Examples of handheld products we develop include chainsaws, blowers, trimmers, and accessories, all of them battery powered. **About the Role** As a Systems Engineer, you will play a central role in cross-functional projects, often collaborating with all disciplines within the development organization. You will be responsible for overall requirements, system architecture, and ensuring system integrity throughout the project. Typical challenges include determining how different functions should be implemented to achieve the best product performance possible for our customers at the right cost. You will also manage system documentation for internal and external stakeholders and work continuously on safety & cyber security aspects together with certification bodies. We spend time in the field testing our products to gain hands-on experience and better understand their performance. Together, you will define product requirements based on technical possibilities.
