Full Job Description
MetroStar is currently looking for a Systems Engineer (AV/VTC) who has experience in programming AV systems, ability to design and install complex AV solutions along with VTC administration. The role will require active VTC administration and trouble of existing systems. This position also will support yearly inventory for compliance to include various regional field offices. What you’ll do: Provide VTC Administration as needed to include troubleshooting and systems that are malfunctioning. Be responsible for designing, configuring, programming and installing new VTC systems. Be responsible for yearly Inventory management to ensure all VTC assets are tracked. What you’ll need to succeed: Active Secret security clearance. 2–4 years of experience in AV/VTC systems engineering, integration, or a related field. Hands-on experience with VTC programming and device configuration. Demonstrated ability to conduct room surveys and develop complete system designs, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), system design drawings, and cable pull lists. Experience with full AV/VTC system installation (e.g., equipment inventory, component installation, cable runs, wiring, and room preparation). Ability to administer VTC systems, including meeting setup, secure communications configuration, and end-user support. SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $97,000 The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
