What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, from an accredited school, 4+ years of related experience, Knowledge of route planning related data (e. g. , aircraft route data, DAFIF, ARINC-424 or similar data specifications), Knowledge of aircraft, weapons, mission planning, and military air operations, Familiarity with various flight management systems and/or applicable mission data, Analytical skills to include tasks such as: decomposition of requirements, ICD and data analyses, software bug investigation, and software functional performance evaluation, Knowledge or experience with SysML, UML, or Software Engineering experience with UML diagraming, Good communication skills, both oral and written, with ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to developers and technical staff as well as non-technical users, Able to employ appropriate documentation and design diagrams to ensure collaborative understanding of technical matters among stakeholders, Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Nice to Have
Master’s degree in Engineering or related field, from an accredited school, 2+ years of related experience, Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

investigate aeronautical and mission data analyze impacts
and develop solutions and alternatives
investigate software discrepancy reports
bugs and integration issues to help determine cause and timely resolution
review and maintain product-related documentation
support planning and execution of mission database load tests in lab environment and/or on-aircraft
