What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of experience performing systems engineering in the defense industry, Experience performing systems engineering analysis, requirements capture, architecture development, system documentation for DoD or government systems, Experience with digital engineering tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw or DOORS, Experience with Agile methodologies, Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts, SysML for requirements, specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, Ability to work confidently with senior officials, collaborate across cross-functional teams, work independently in a fast-paced environment, Ability to obtain a Secret clearance, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology
Nice to Have
Experience with engineering tools such as Dassault 3DS, IBM DOORS, ModelCenter, TeamCenter, MATLAB, STK, and CAD tools, Experience developing test strategies, plans, and reports, participating in test execution and analysis, Experience with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) techniques, Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) standards, Experience in DoD aerospace program acquisition offices, analyzing and translating system requirements into design, Experience with airworthiness requirements and testing, Experience using Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills, Master’s degree in Engineering, INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional Certification (ASEP), SysML OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional (OCSMP) Certification
