What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Relevant Engineering Degree from a recognized University, Minimum 15 years of experience in the AECO industry or relevant field, Minimum 10 years of experience in rail projects and/or rail operations in Dubai, the GCC, and/or internationally, Extensive knowledge and demonstrable experience in systems assurance, RAMS, verification & validation, and safety assurance for large-scale rail and infrastructure projects, including express railway systems, Relevant expertise in rail systems, airport integration, operational interfaces, passenger systems, and baggage handling integration for express railway services, understanding of Systems Engineering principles including requirements management, traceability, interface management, verification, and validation processes, Proven experience managing technical and management scope of complex multidisciplinary rail systems packages within mega rail or infrastructure projects, Experience coordinating assurance and certification activities with operators, authorities, independent assessors, and regulatory stakeholders, Familiarity with international railway standards, safety frameworks, and best practices related to rail systems assurance and operational readiness, Demonstrable communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and engage effectively with stakeholders, analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify risks and implement practical mitigation measures, Ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments and support delivery across all project stages
Nice to Have
Professional certification or membership with a recognized engineering, railway, safety, or systems assurance institution is preferred, Additional qualifications or certifications in Systems Assurance, RAMS, Functional Safety, or Railway Safety are an advantage

Ensuring safe and seamless integration of the railway system with all interfaces
Leading the development and implementation of the Systems Assurance framework
and compliance processes
Managing Systems Assurance
verification & validation (V&V)
and certification activities
Ensuring full integration and assurance coordination between railway systems
Coordinating assurance activities related to airport integration
operational interfaces
and baggage handling interfaces
Developing and managing assurance deliverables
Supporting Systems Engineering activities
Coordinating interface management activities
Supporting preparation and review of Design and Construct tender documentation
Leading coordination with designers
independent assessors
and regulatory authorities
Supporting development and implementation of testing and commissioning strategies
Identifying and managing technical
and integration risks
Ensuring compliance with project specifications
